Press-On FAQ

How do I choose the right size?

Try each nail before applying adhesive. Choose a size that covers your natural nail from side to side without touching the skin or needing to be forced into place. If between sizes, gently file the edges of a slightly larger nail for a comfortable fit.

Which adhesive should I use?

Choose adhesive tabs for convenient application and frequent style changes. For Bloop UV Gel Nail Tip Bond, follow the product’s compatibility, application, curing, and removal instructions. Do not assume a UV gel bond can be used with every press-on design. If using nail glue instead, follow that glue’s own instructions; the wear ranges below do not apply to other adhesives.

How long do press-ons last?

Expected wear is 4–7 days with adhesive tabs, or 7–10 days with Bloop UV Gel Nail Tip Bond when used as directed with compatible nail tips. Actual wear varies with fit, preparation, water exposure, and daily activities. These ranges are a guide, not a guaranteed wear time.

How should I prepare and apply them?

Start with clean, dry nails, free of polish, oils, and lotion. Select your sizes first, then apply the adhesive and press each nail into place according to its instructions. Avoid aggressive buffing, keep adhesive off skin, and follow the adhesive’s guidance on curing and water exposure after application.

How do I remove them gently?

Never pull or pry nails off. Follow the adhesive’s removal instructions and use its recommended remover where needed. Allow the bond to soften fully; if a nail resists, stop and repeat the recommended removal process rather than forcing it.

Should I patch test, and when should I stop use?

Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s patch-test guidance before first use. Don’t use an adhesive you’ve previously reacted to, or apply over damaged nails or irritated skin. Stop use if you notice pain, burning, itching, redness, or swelling. Remove gently according to the adhesive’s instructions and seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
